She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Charles P. Chretien; her parents, Paul Schunko and Julia Schunko; her children, William P. Chretien (Sandra) of Keene, NH, Geoffrey P. Chretien (Mariann) of Torrington, Paul P. Chretien of Lawrenceville, GA and Christina M. Brzoska (Joseph) of Torrington; her sisters, Otti Reisinger of Fürstenzell, Germany Antlinger and Rita Antlinger of Schärding, Austria; and her grandchildren, Christopher Brzoska (Jody, Deirdre Chretien), Sarah Mosher (Nicholas, Robert Chretien) and Nina McIntyre (Joe). She was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
