It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine V. Scalise (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Adornetto and Maria Adornetto; her husband Joseph A. Scalise, Sr.; and her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Marchetto (Catherine "Dolly" Cardillo). She is survived by: her son Joseph A. Scalise, Jr. (Pauline); her siblings, Carmen Adornetto, Salvatore Adornetto (Judy) and Frances Ricci; her grandchildren, Joseph A. Scalise III, Shannon Magee (Bob) and Christopher Stack; and her great grandchild Serena Magee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Hospice of Western and Central Mass, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
