It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Ahrens of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josephine Ahrens to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stefandl and Anna Stefandl (Schager); her husband John Ahrens; and her siblings, Marie Kromer, Anna Neu and John Stefandl.

She is survived by: her children, Gertrude Randisi (Salvatore) of Pittsfield and John Ahrens (Erika) of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Dawn Mounts (Druie), Donna Montalbano (Joseph), Diane Sardzinski (Doug), Desirae Randisi and Teddy Randisi; her great grandchildren, Zachary Mortenson, Kaitlyn Mounts and Jonathan Lichter; and her sister Helen Meisl of Sandisfield, MA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
