He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Lavelle and Laura M. Lavelle (Boyer); and his siblings, Edward, Richard, Alfred, Charles, Mildred, Constance and Anna.
He is survived by: his wife Fern E. O'Donnell; his children, Kim E. Lavelle of Dalton, Karen Sondrini (Michael), Susan Lavelle (Thomas Hoover) of Pittsfield, Michael Lavelle and Jane Lavelle (Kent Allen) of San Francisco; his grandchildren, Dominick Sondrini (Lindsey), Matthew Sondrini, David Sondrini (Caitlyn), Abigail Sondrini, Mark Lavelle, Christopher Jackson, Althea and Cassady Allen; and his great grandchildren, Stella and Everett Sondrini.
