He is survived by: his parent Becky Mendelson Lerner; his sons, Lawrence D. Lerner of Pittsfield and Robert C. Lerner (Diane) of Westford, MA; and his granddaughters, Meredith Lerner of Boston and Allison Lerner of Boston.
