He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ward and Mary Gibbons Ward; his former wife Catherine Mongeau Ward; his wife Phyllis Martin; and his siblings, Tiley, Raymond, Dorothy, Harold and Mary.
He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Davis; his children, Susan Fresia (Dana) of Bradenton, FL, John Ward (Jeannette) of Pittsfield, Pamela Richardson (Charles) of Gansevoort, NY and Paul Ward of Pittsfield; and his stepchildren, Morgan Davis (Teri) of Hinsdale, Marian Genette of Lanesboro, Kathleen Davis and Hector Perez of Nicaragua. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Legion or HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
