He was predeceased by: his parent John F. Harte Sr.; his siblings, James Harte and Catherine Kelly; and his daughter-in-law Sherry Harte. He is survived by: his parent Helen Hanaway Harte; his spouse Jennie Ropelewski; his children, David Harte, Debra King (Anthony) and Kathleen Chiaretto (Terrance); his grandchildren, David (Colleen), Julie, Jeffrey (Brianna), Sean Harte, Courtney, Michael (Kate), Shannon, Megan King (Elizabeth), Jessica Houlihan (Brandon) and Marcus Chiaretto; his brother Richard Harte (Betsy) of Troy, NY; and his sister-in-law Irene Ropelewski of Pittsfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Berkshire County Jimmy Fund or to St. Joseph's Church, in care of the Funeral Home.
