She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Houston and Elizabeth Allman Simmons; her husband Dr. Antonio Geraldo Massimiano; her sons, Anthony Gerald Massimiano and Dr. Paul Stephen Massimiano; her siblings, Elizabeth Simmons Phillips and Robert Houston Simmons, Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Kathy Frahm Massimiano of Pittsfield and Sue Allison Massimiano of Warrenton, Virginia; her grandchildren, Kimberly Massimiano Paolercio (Michael), Kristin Massimiano Browne (Aaron), Anthony Gerald Massimiano, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Julia Allison Massimiano; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Jeanne Paolercio, Catherine Mary Paolercio, Caroline Jane Paolercio, Violet Maddox Browne, Lucy Dean Browne and Arlo Raszmann Massimiano; and her sister-in-law Mary Samale Massimiano. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
