She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Maynard; her son Jonathan Maynard; her grandson Paul Smegal; and also Rose Brodeur-Heihsel. She is survived by: her friends, Lil and Bernie Roberts; her children, Deborah Maynard, Lynn Gajewski and Stephen Maynard; her grandchildren, Sarah Smegal (Jeff DaCosta), Jaclyn Alibozek, Jason Smegal (Katie), Alexa Bokankowitz, Emily Bokankowitz, Seth Maynard (Claire), Allyson Curley, Lindsay Maynard, Caitlin Maynard and Danielle Maynard; her cousin Patricia Heihsel; and her sister-in-law Madeline Pickens of Delaware. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Maynard's memory may be made to the Berkshire Benevolent Association for the Blind, the Lanesborough Council on Aging, or Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
