He was predeceased by: his parent Paul Coughlin. He is survived by: his parent Katherine Starr Coughlin; his wife Marilyn T. McMahon Coughlin; his parents-in-law, Joseph McMahon and Marcella McMahon; his siblings, Jeanne Bushey and David Coughlin; his brother-in-law Albert White; his daughters, Joan Elizabeth Whittington and Maureen Coughlin; his siblings, Carolyn White of Albany, NY, Mary K. O'Brien (Robert) of Pittsfield, Paula Byrdy (Harold) of Lanesborough, Thomas Coughlin (Linda) of Charlton and Michael Coughlin (Carmen) of Mountain View, CA; his brother-in-law Edward McMahon (Julie); and his grandchildren, Tara Rochelo, Audra Butman, Patrick Coughlin, Christopher Coughlin, Bridget Cooley, Joseph Whittington, Michael Lomaglio, Eric Lomaglio, Emily Tibbetts and Mathew Tibbetts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
