He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Keefner, Sr. and Marguerite I. Peaslee; his brother Kenneth; and his father-in-law Frank Monterosso. He is survived by: his wife Florence C. Monterosso; his children, Melissa Keefner and James Jr. (Christine Robie); his grandchildren, Charles, Christopher, Katie Maxfield, Dylan, Jaden Keefner and Gabriel Ramirez; his friend Bob; his brother Lawrence Keefner, Jr. (Pat) of South Yarmouth; his mother-in-law Josephine Monterosso of Ohio; his brothers-in-law, William Monterosso (Kim) of Ohio and Joseph Monterosso of Pittsfield; his daughter-in-law Nathalie Gallais; and his friends, Ernie, Lois Korn, Dick, Linda Liccardi, Ray, Maureen Henault, Carol Kiley (late Don), Stan and Lori Slonski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
