He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas P. Burnick and Marion R. Burnick (Gagnon); and his brothers, Thomas J. Burnick, Robert W. Burnick, George F. Burnick and Gerald E. Burnick.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mary Sarro; his children, James E. Burnick (Michelle) of Matthews, NC and Linda Adriance (John) of Pittsfield; and his grandchildren, Andrew James Burnick, Sarah Margaret Burnick, Matthew James Adriance and Michael John Adriance.
Memorial donations are suggested for the Pittsfield Elk's Lodge through the funeral home.
