It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene L. Shea (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur LaBonte and Blanche Clairmonte LaBonte; her husband Richard H. Shea; and her brother Donald LaBonte. She is survived by: her daughter Maureen Shea of Pittsfield; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Quinlan (Trevor) of Pittsfield and Mark Salvini (Vicky) of Huntington. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
To best ensure everybody's health, due to the recent rise in Covid cases, all who attend these services will be required to wear face masks.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Springside Place Activities Fund, Hospice Care of Western Mass, or to the Sonsini Animal Shelter, in her memory, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
