With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida Nina Eccher of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Readsboro, Vermont, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida Nina Eccher to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Scaia and Angelina Scaia (Maestri); her spouse Fabio Domenico Eccher; and her siblings, Eleanor Dassatti, Anita Scaia and Augustus Scaia.
She is survived by: her children, Gwenn Eccher Preston (James) of Lake Forest, CA and Mark Carl Eccher (Myra) of Franklin, MA.; her grandchildren, Daniel Eccher, Brandon Eccher, Adam Preston, Torey Preston and Alana Preston; and her great grandchildren, Macey, Anders, Mia, Christopher, Claire, Jordan and Travis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or St. Agnes Church in care of the funeral home.
