He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert McGurn and Elizabeth Lawton McGurn; his son Michael Raymond McGurn; his former wife Carol Greenwood; his sister Elizabeth Ann McGurn Byrant; and his siblings-in-law, Abe Bryant and Kathleen Louise McGurn (Sharp).
He is survived by: his wife Martha C. Cleary; his children, Melissa McGurn, Matthew McGurn (Dorothy) and Michelle Potash (Steven); his brother David McGurn; and his stepchildren, Geoff Dubiski, Molly O'Connor, Patrick O'Connor and Brendan O'Connor. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
