It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ray of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry LaVigne and Eva Brousseau LaVigne; and her spouse Francis J. Ray. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence E. Ray (Marcia), Dennis J. Ray (Cindy) of Pittsfield, Paul C. Ray (Deb Wendell) of Pittsfield, Patricia R. Mellace of Stephentown, NY and Debra S. Ray of Pittsfield; her sister Florence Ray of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Christopher Ray, Matthew J. Mellace (Aimee Munday), Elliott Ray, Ashley Ray (Mansoor Pervaiz), Kelly Rhodes (Joshua), Lisa M. Mellace, Melanie Groah (Jordan), Kate Merrigan (Nick Fahey), Erin Merrigan (Evan Webb) and Meghan Merrigan (Mark Charland); and her great grandchildren, Zara Pervaiz, Oisin Merrigan-Fahey and Walker Charland.
