In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her brother Henri J Beauchemin. She is survived by: her children, James R. Briggs (Gloria) of Carefree, Arizona, Barbara B. Garrity (Stephen) of Pittsfield, Timothy A. Briggs of Taylorsville, Utah, Katy Briggs (Bob Spaniol) of Pittsfield and Debbie Belair of Pittsfield. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (191 Elm St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Braille and Talking Book Library, Perkins School for the Blind in care of the funeral home.
