He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth McGurk (Patrick); his grandson Jean-Paul; and his parents, G. Waldron O'Connor and Elizabeth Carroll O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Claire O'Connor (Warner); his children, Douglas (Nancy Fisher), Robert (Magalie Danier), Rory and Sharon O'Connor (Tom Honigford); and his grandchildren, Robert, Christian (Sarah), Emma and Cora.
