He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carnute; his children, George Jr. (Donna) of Colorado Springs, CO and Zesira "Cici" Smith of Billingham, WA.; his grandchildren, Ana, Francesca Barnes and Suzanna Smith; and his siblings, Frank C. Barnes, Sr. (Catherine) of Dalton, MA, Lilian Friedrick of Pittsfield, Marjorie Signor of Pittsfield, Marion Christman of Pittsfield and Beatrice Wendell of Dalton.
