He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Kennedy and Grace Kennedy; his wife Carol Irene Ritsert; his daughter-in-law Jeanne Bogino; his brother William Kennedy (Mercedes); and his children, Frank Kennedy, Jr., Margaret Rorrio (John) and Denise Pillion (Matt). He was also cherished by two grandchildren, a great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
