He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis Irving and Ella Durling Burno; his wife Patricia Alden Thayer; his children, Susan Palmgren, Mark Burno (Alicia) of Clinton, CT, Matthew Burno (Pamela) of Pittsfield, MA and Tracy Cole (Henry) of San Diego, CA; his daughter-in-law Yukari Burno of Japan; his grandchildren, Aileen Adams (Dale), Heather Holmes (Matthew), Sylvana, Marcelo Burno, Cassidy and Chase Cole; his great grandchildren, Ayla and Frank Adams; his cousin Elizabeth Collishaw (Clyde); his son Jon Burno; and his sister Joann Burno Lamond.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations can be made to First Baptist Church.
