With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Walz of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 23, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Walz and NJ; his wife Marie Archey; and his daughter Ann Walz. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Walz (Donna), Kathleen Bobal (Wayne), James Walz (Christine), Mary Walz-Watson, Michele Wells (Jonathan) and Wendy Walz. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
