It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene H. Lyon (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 22, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmonds Lyon and Mary Umbs Lyon; his former wife Elaine Gaudette Lyon; and his brothers, Edmonds D. Lyon, Jr., Lynn D. Lyon, William C. Lyon and Wesley J. Lyon.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia R. Morton; his children, Linda S. Pruyne (Robert) of Lanesborough, Debra J. Lyon of Pittsfield, Patricia E. Reed (Lewis) of Pittsfield, Keri R. Costa of Lanesborough and John W. Lyon of San Jose, CA.; his siblings, Mary J Leab of Cheshire and Richard P. Lyon of Pittsfield; and his grandchildren, John W. Lyon, Jr., Tammi E Haines, Robert C. Pruyne, Jr., Edward W. Casella, Melissa E. Guinen, Brandon L. Depson, Ava L Costa, Ella R. Costa, Ashley Reed, Karl Reed, Joshua Reed and Dana Victorino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Pittsfield in care of the Wellington Funeral Home in his memory.
