He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard "Bear" Kirchner, Jerome Kirchner, David Kirchner and Winnifred Alexander; and also Lela Kirchner (Bennett).
He is survived by: his parents, Bernard Kirchner and Myrtle Kirchner (Plouffe); his children, Eugene K. Kirchner of Pittsfield, Deborah Ann Kirchner of Pittsfield, Theresa Kirchner of Pittsfield, Elizabeth Kirchner of Pittsfield and Tammy Adams; and his sisters, Rose Alfanu of Winsted and Laurette Herting of Cosakie. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
