It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Frances McCarty (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), born in Lenox, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill McCarty; her son Kevin; and her siblings, Patricia, Eugene, Richard and William McCarthy.
She is survived by: her parents, Thomas McCarthy and Pauline LaBrode McCarthy; her sons, Denis (Pamela) of Dalton and Mark (Sally) of Pittsfield; and her grandchildren, Erin Redd, Kelly Ziemba, Brian McCarty and Katie McCarty. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
