He was predeceased by: his brother James Ladley. He is survived by: his parents, James P. Ladley and Crescentia Stammberger Ladley; his son Varsity Basketball Coach; his wife Rose Marie Ladley; his children, Edward M. Ladley (Beth), Jennifer Cunagin (Wayne), Rebecca Tobler, Sean Ladley (Stephanie), Stephanie Brazeau (Vincent), Timothy Ladley (Amber), Erin Leonard (Shawn) and Megan Muir (Geoff); and his siblings, Thomas Ladley, Peter Ladley and Crescentia Brynolfson. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
