She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shurkus and Rose Irene Shurkus (Gokey). She is survived by: her son Richard "Ricky" Ostellino of Pittsfield; her brother Joseph "Joe" Shurkus (Marita); her nephews, Ryan of Southington, CT. and Ethan Shurkus of Southington, CT.; her former husband Richard Ostellino; and her cousins, Lisa Andrews and Stephen Leab.
