With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald F. Murphy of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 16, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Brazeau Murphy and William Murphy, Sr.; his wife Carolyn Eleanor Wilcox; his son Dennis Murphy; his granddaughter Crystal Murphy; and his brother Lawrence Murphy.
He is survived by: his son Glenn M. Murphy (Donna) of Pittsfield; his brother William Murphy, Jr. of Virginia; and his granddaughter Samantha Murphy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
