He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irving Sweener and Barbara Sweener (McGovern); his wife Diane Sweener (Spring) of Pittsfield; his children, James Sweener of Pittsfield and Jennifer Charbonneau (Sweener) of Lanesborough; his siblings, William Sweener of Dalton, Robert Sweener of Westhampton, Linda Kozloff-Turner of Westminster, CO and Nancy Lamarre of Lanesborough; and his grandchildren, James Cavanaugh, Ava and Ella Charbonneau. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Christian Center or HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
