Claire H. Volin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire H. Volin of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Claire H. Volin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis F. Hoffman and Mary Sanford Hoffman; and her husband William L. Volin. She is survived by: her children, William J. Volin (Kathleen) and Christine M. Reed (James); and her grandchildren, Jennifer C. Crocker (Timothy), Bridget M. Albano (David), Shaun C. Volin (Candace) and Daniel L. Volin. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren.
A public Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church will be held at a later date, when Covid restrictions are lifted and all are able to safely gather together.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in her memory. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer Funeral Home.
