It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine C. Rickard of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Camden, Alabama, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Cannon and Lettie Cannon; and her brothers, Walter Cannon and Elbert Cannon. She is survived by: her husband James Rickard; her daughters, Connie Rickard and Cynthia Rickard (Scott); her siblings, Paula Heckstall (Frank), Ella Cannon, Bessie Long (Kennet) and Marvin Cannon (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Myles Phillips (Christie), Mason Phillips and Akira Derr; and her great grandchildren, Deondre, Marquel, Kyrie and Soleil Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Catherine's name to the Second Congregational Church.
