He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. and Dorothy Culley Valentine, Sr.; and his sister Caroline Beals. He is survived by: his son Alfred W. Valentine (Rebecca A. Valentine) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Fredrick C. Valentine and Kristin M. Valentine; and his brother John A. Valentine.
