He was predeceased by: his sister Marian Sheridan (Francis); and his nephews, James Sheridan, William Sheridan and Peter Bell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Sturgeon; his siblings, Robert R. Peaslee (Gloria) of Dalton, MA and Jane Heidcamp of North Attleboro, MA; and his nieces and nephews, Cheryl Killeen (Bob), David Peaslee (Marla), Donna Bell, Catherine Stiles (Bruce), Robert Heidcamp (Maura), Pamela Alfred (Fred), Lynn Freedman (Jeff), Lisa Murphy (Carl), Stephen Sheridan, Christopher Sheridan (Demetria) and Susan Sheridan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Pittsfield Parks Speed Skating Club in care of the funeral home.
