He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarman E. Dawson and Claire E. Hoffecker Dawson; and his sister Carman L. Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Gilbert; his son Carl William Dawson, Jr. of Pittsfield; his granddaughter Holly Dawson; and his daughter Sabrina Parker of Springfield, VT..
