He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph M. Behan and Mary J. Bocketti Behan; his wife Patricia Ferrari-Behan of Pittsfield; his children, Sharon Gittzus (Jim) of Canaan, NY, Darren Behan of San Diego, CA and Michael Behan (Chris) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Jordan Gittzus, James Gittzus, Kaden Behan, Alyson Behan and Matthew Behan; his siblings, Robert, June, Tony, Billy, Jean, Larry and Joseph; and his pets, Buck and Olive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to The Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
