With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsy Hamilton in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Lewiston, Maine, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Betsy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Betsy. Though Betsy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence E. Swift and Ruth H. Swift (French); her husband Thomas L. Hamilton of Dalton; and her sister Susanne Bell of Pittsfield. She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Todd and Lori; her daughter-in-law Katie; and her daughters, Loryn and Julia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested for either the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, both in care of the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home of Pittsfield.
