He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Houle and Juliana Dargy Houle; and his sister Rita E. Moffett. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hamel; his children, Margaret Smith (Lawrence), Patricia van Roekens (Craig) and Roger B. Houle (Shaunna); his brother-in-law Raymond Moffett; his grandchildren, Lauren Seburn (Joshua), Andrew Smith, Evan, Ryan, Victoria van Roekens, Jaelyn and Parker Houle; and his great grandchild Avery Seburn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, Meals on Wheels, or Pregnancy Support Services in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in his memory. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer Funeral Home.
