He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eileen McCarron, Katherine Combs and Edward McCarron; his grandson Daniel Bernard Prout; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Coombs and Edward Mitchell.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael McCarron and Mary Maloy McCarron; his wife Jeannine Mitchell; his children, Patricia McCarron, Colleen Hassan (Roger), Lauren Bolio (Craig), Michael McCarron (Catherine), Ann Margaret Connors and Melissa Tomlin (Eugene); his grandchildren, Roger Hassan, Gregory Hassan, Kylie Ungewitter, William Prout, Jr., Ryder McFadyen, Mitchell Hughes and Robert Hughes; and also Bernard.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pittsfield Boys & Girls Club, care of the Funeral Home, in his memory.
