He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flaherty and Winifred Beegan Flaherty; and his sister Pat Jarvis. He is survived by: his wife Arleen Wrenn; his son Sean Flaherty (Stephanie DiPerna Flaherty); his grandchild Sydney of Lynnfield, MA; his great grandchild Dr. Sarah Flaherty of Pittsburgh, PA; and his siblings, Dennis Flaherty (Diane) of Western Springs, IL and Nancy Dunne of Lisle, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
