He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Sumy and Anthony Sumy; his wife Loretta Faussone; his children, Mark Sumy, David Sumy, Joseph Sumy and Paul Sumy of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Morgan Sumy, Melinda Sumy and Daniel Sumy; his great grandchild Derek St; and his brothers, Stanley, John and Frank. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
