It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Sacchetti Jr. of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony M. Sacchetti, Sr. and Amelia Tocavelli Sacchetti; his daughter Jamie Marie Sacchetti Drennan; and his siblings, Francis, Henry, Thomas Sacchetti and Marguerite.
He is survived by: his significant other Dolores "Dolly" Sacchetti (Controy) of Pittsfield; his children, Jay Sacchetti (Nancy) of Pittsfield, Mark Sacchetti (Rosie) of Pittsfield and Charlene Caritey (Michael) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Beth Morrison, Jessi Caritey, Amanda Sacchetti, Michael Sacchetti, Chad Sacchetti, Alex Sacchetti, Adam Sacchetti and Brandon Lewis; his great grandchildren, Julia, Joseph, Willow and Josie; and his sisters, Joan Monteleone of Pittsfield and Nina Stomski (Richard) of Torrington, CT..
Mr. Sacchetti was the Director of Pittsfield's RSVP program for 14 years retiring in 1995.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Boys and Girls Club of Pittsfield in care of the funeral home.
