He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Pires and Josephine Prendergast Pires. He is survived by: his siblings, Douglas F. Pires of Pittsfield and Marjorie Meleca of Daytona Beach, FL.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
