She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Randolph Brown of Philadelphia and Dorothy Scott Brown of Philadelphia; and her siblings, Thomas Allen Scott, Randolph Wooden, Cheryl A Goines and Rebecca E. Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Gaulden; her children, Newlin (Arnele), Kenneth (Hahna), Tamnika (Millard) and Myia (James); her brother Douglas Brown (Gloria); and her brother-in-law Arnold Goines of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Women of Color Giving Circle in care of the funeral home.
