Amelia Rodriques Giannopolo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amelia Rodriques Giannopolo of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquimdo Amaral and Maria Amaral (Rodriques); her spouse Carmen J. Giannopolo; and her sisters, Maria Goncalves, Maria H. Paralta, Silvana Almeida and Ascencao Almeida.
She is survived by: her children, James J Giannopolo of Pittsfield, MA and Lisa M. Giannopolo of Pittsfield, MA.; her grandsons, James Daley and Ryan Moore; her great grandchild Artemus Daley; and her sister Silvina Gouveia of Fall River, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home (5 Elm St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (414 North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
