He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Walker and Rosa Saltus Walker; and his brother Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Placido; his children, Mary Leighton (Brent), Karen Maffuccio (Joseph), Alan M (Laurie) and Joseph; his grandchildren, Brent, Kyle, Libby, Ella, Ava, Gavin and Aiden; his brother Bruce; and his sister-in-law Sarah of Hickory, NC..
