She is survived by: her parents, Heinrich Schaefer and Hedwig Schaefer; her sister Ursula McGowen of Pittsfield; her stepson Richard Vinette Jr.; her nephews, Robert McGowen and Michael McGowen; and her friend Janice Horrigan.
