It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelia Ferrari Placido (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), born in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 9, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Emma Placido, Gloria Stanisz, Norma Cimini and Antonio Ferrari. She is survived by: her parents, Domenico Ferrari and Maria Passetti Ferrari; her daughters, Barbara Walker (Alan) and Maryann Richer (Bradford); her grandchildren, Mary Walker-Leighton, Alan, Joseph, Karen Maffuccio, Mark Richer and Marcy Bienvenue; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Libby, Ella Walker, Ava, Gavin Maffuccio and Braden Bienvenue; and her sisters, Clara Kiethler and Flora Cologiacomo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in her memory.
