He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Phil Purple (Anne Roy) of Phillipston and Cindy Hartwell (Chuck) of New Salem; and also, Paula DiDiego (Robert) of Orange, Christina Newland (Scott) of Naperville, IL, Tarna Genovese (John Stasukelis) of Phillipston and Gina Madden (Joseph) of Charlestown, MA.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and great grandchildren.
