He was predeceased by: his son Christopher; his parents, Dominick and Nellie; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Richard Jr. (Susan); his granddaughters, Justine Sargent (Justin) and Jessica Thibeault; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Graves and Jack Sargent; his daughters, Lori Obue (Larry), Diane Chaisson, Theresa Mailloux and Denise Aukstikalnis (Timothy); and his brother Robert (Christine). He is also survived by grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
