It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kane Ofenstein of Pepperell, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Sharon Kane's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Esther (Roser) and John Edward Kane; her significant other Lee Stoychoff; her brother Robert Terry Kane (Robin); her nephew Morgan Edward Kane (Kayla C.); her great-niece Everleigh Mae Kane; her great-nephew Hudson Theodore Kane; and her husbands, Tom Ofenstein and Dana Randolph Prozeller (Randy). She was also cherished by horses and cats, and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the The First Congregational Church of Reading (25 East Main Street, Georgetown, MA 01833).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New England Equine Rescue North, (NEER North, 52 Ash Street, West Newbury, MA 01985).
